Privacy Policy

The short version TiVix collects no personal data whatsoever. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics SDK, and no server operated by AXELARIO SAS that receives anything from the app. Your playlist URLs, bookmarks, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device using standard iOS local storage. The only outbound network connections are to the M3U servers and stream sources that you explicitly configure.

1. Who we are

TiVix is developed and published by AXELARIO SAS, a French company registered in France. For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@axelar.io.

2. TiVix provides no content

TiVix is a neutral media player. It does not provide, host, bundle, or link to any streaming content. All playlist sources are configured exclusively by the user. The app plays whatever M3U URLs the user enters — AXELARIO SAS has no knowledge of, and no control over, the content of user-supplied playlists.

3. Data stored on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device only, using iOS UserDefaults and the app's cache directory. None of it is transmitted to AXELARIO SAS or any third party:

Playlist source URLs — the M3U/M3U8 URLs you add in Settings.
Cached playlist files — the raw M3U text fetched from each source, stored in the app's caches directory under a UUID filename. Deleted when you remove a source.
Bookmarked channel IDs — the stream URL strings of channels you have hearted.
Last selected channel — the stream URL of the most recently played channel, used to restore playback on next launch.
Activity logs — timestamped fetch attempt/success/failure records, stored in memory and cleared when you tap "Clear" in the Log screen or relaunch the app.

4. Data sent over the network

The app makes the following outbound network requests. All go exclusively to servers of your choosing — none go to AXELARIO SAS:

M3U playlist fetch — an HTTP(S) GET to the URL you entered in Settings, to retrieve the playlist file.
Channel logo images — HTTP(S) GET requests to the tvg-logo URLs embedded in your playlist, to display channel artwork.
HLS stream data — HTTP(S) requests to the stream URL of the channel you selected for playback.

No data about you, your device, or your viewing activity accompanies any of these requests beyond what is inherent to a standard HTTP connection (IP address, User-Agent).

5. No permissions beyond networking

TiVix requests no device permissions beyond network access. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location, or any other sensitive resource.

The app registers for Background Modes (Audio, AirPlay, Picture in Picture) solely to continue media playback during Picture-in-Picture. No audio is recorded.

6. Analytics and tracking

TiVix does not include any analytics SDK, advertising network, crash reporting service (such as Firebase, Sentry, or Crashlytics), or tracking library. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is never accessed.

The App Store privacy nutrition label for TiVix is "No Data Collected."

7. Children's privacy

TiVix is rated 4+ on the App Store. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it inherently complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Your rights (GDPR & similar)

Because AXELARIO SAS holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you wish to delete all data associated with TiVix, simply delete the app from your device — all local storage is removed by iOS automatically.

9. Third-party frameworks and SDKs

TiVix uses only Apple system frameworks: AVFoundation, SwiftUI, Combine, and Foundation. No third-party SDKs or packages are included.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
